In addition to it, other already established successes reinforce the list, whether of productions that came to an end in apotheotic finals or those that won new seasons recently. It is the case of The bearwhich follows the chaotic life of a chef, and Successionthe HBO Max series that topped the 2023 Emmy nominations.

When we look at Apple TV+, we see that, despite having a leaner catalogue, streaming has managed to score some successes, such as science fiction Silo and the thriller series Air Hijacking.

Netflix, known as the streaming giant, however, appeared discreet with its Black Mirror It is The Witcherbut what caught the attention was Globoplay, which scored a telenovela in seventh place.

It is worth remembering that the ranking takes into account the volume of searches made by Brazilian users on JustWatch, a platform that aggregates information about streamings.

Although not exactly a series, All Flowers managed to earn a spot on our list. João Emanuel Carneiro’s soap opera, which was shown in two parts by Globoplay, won the hearts of subscribers for delivering an engaging plot that brought themes such as revenge and redemption.

Starring Regina Casé, Sophie Charlotte and Letícia Colin, the plot follows the story of Maíra, a young woman who was born with visual impairment and was rejected by her mother.

With only five episodes, the new season raised controversy and many viewers were unhappy with what they saw on screen, claiming that the production “lost its touch”.

Like it or not, the truth is that the discussion made a lot of people watch it, and that’s why it won sixth place on our list.

Black Mirror is available on Netflix.

5. Silo

Another science fiction that conquered the public was Silo. The series just finished its first season and electrifyingly concluded the story of survivors of a climatic catastrophe that forced people to live in underground silos to try to escape the deadly chaos of the outside world.

It turns out that Cavill has already announced that he will leave the plot after the third season, being replaced by Liam Hemsworth. This fact was perhaps precisely the reason why the production was so sought after by viewers, earning third place on our list of most watched series of the week.
