Cody Rhodes got his biggest break in WWE when he faced Roman Reigns for the belts at WrestleMania 39 Night Two. However, The American Nightmare failed to complete its narrative. Rhodes said today that he will be speaking about his future in an upcoming issue of Monday Night RAW.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Rhodes said his loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 last Sunday “wasn’t the result I was hoping for and I know a lot of fans were disappointed as well. He then thanked a range of people from the McMahon family, Brandi Rhodes, Kevin Dunn, Nick Khan, John Cena and the fans who attended last weekend’s events.
Fans were devastated when Rhodes failed to win and was eventually killed by The Beast Incarnate. Today, following the events of WrestleMania 39 and RAW, The American Nightmare broke its silence on its future. Look at that:
“A long week. I know last Sunday wasn’t the result I was hoping for and I know a lot of fans were disappointed too. I don’t apologize I lost. I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you how much I enjoyed the ride…through Sunday night and into Monday night.”

Rhodes also stated that he will be discussing his future plans in WWE on Monday night RAW. “Finally, the nearly 200,000 fans who attended the weekend overall…unwavering and motivating. I want to be your champion. This Monday, I hope to talk about my future in WWE and what might be next for me.”
