Anna Faris has been selective in taking on new roles since retiring from her hit CBS series Mom in 2020.
Since the initial COVID-19 lockdown, the actress has primarily appeared in animated films, including black comedy The Estate (2022) and her Unqualified podcast.
Enjoying more free time in the past three years, the Scary Movie star headed to a coffee date with friends in Los Angeles’ upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood on Thursday.
The 46-year-old Baltimore, Maryland native opted for a casual-cool ensemble in the fashion department: a blue denim jumpsuit and a pair of military green boots.
To complete her afternoon look, Faris wore a black jacket in case the temperature dropped later in the early evening, and had her platinum blonde tresses styled long, just above her shoulders, with a center parting.

On another hot summer’s day in Southern California, the hot chick star also donned dark shades to brave the bright sun.
Eventually, she was seen exiting the premises and returning to her parked vehicle.
In an interview with People Earlier this year, Faris revealed that she never made a “conscious” decision to leave acting to have more time for herself.
She claimed it happened naturally in the wake of the pandemic, but ultimately felt it was the right move after using the time to reassess her priorities.
“I sort of took my foot off the gas and spent a lot of time with my son.” “It felt really good,” she told the publication while promoting her advertisement for the 2023 Avocados From Mexico Super Bowl.
“It wasn’t conscious, it was sort of a sabbatical I guess,” she added.
Faris is the proud mother of a 10-year-old son, Jack, whom she shares with her ex-husband and Hollywood star Chris Pratt, 44.
Since their 2018 divorce, Pratt has married Katherine Schwarzenegger and had two daughters, while Faris tied the knot with cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021.
Three years later, the actress feels the hiatus also helped her develop a number of ideas and projects that she says are now on the way.

“It felt great. And what also feels great right now is that all the projects and characters that I’ve been unconsciously twirling around with feel like they’re starting to sprout,” she explained. “And I feel really proactive, which feels great.”
One of her new projects is the upcoming spy comedy My Spy: The Eternal City, a sequel to My Spy, which began filming in February.
Directed by Peter Segal from a screenplay by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber. As in the original, Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Kristen Schaal and Ken Jeong slip into their roles.
Faris joins Craig Robinson and Flula Borg as new additions to the cast.
My Spy: The Eternal City was filmed in both South Africa and Rome, Italy.
So far, there is no official information on when the film will premiere in US theaters
