Ballack bets Bayern as Champions League winners

Munich. Former national player Michael Ballack is betting on FC Bayern Munich as winners in the Champions League. “I’m neutral, even if Bayern and Chelsea meet in the semi-finals,” the 46-year-old told Kicker, referring to his former teams. “My tip for overall victory: Bayern.”

Ballack justified his tip before the quarter-final first leg against Manchester City today (9 p.m. / Prime Video) with the quality of the German record champions. No other team is favorite against FC Bayern. “If they should have eliminated ManCity, and before that Paris – then they wouldn’t have to be afraid of anyone.”
