Big hype about the last home game: HSV warns its fans before that

The numbers are clear – and unsurprising. The last HSV home game of the regular season on Saturday evening (8.30 p.m.) against Greuther Fürth is completely sold out. 57,000 spectators will be there, nothing works anymore. Unless you look around the internet at Viagogo.

The Swiss company is still offering 32 tickets (as of Tuesday afternoon) for the game on its platform. A seller calls for a whopping 136 euros for the cheapest ticket – mind you for standing room in Block 26A. A madness about which one only shakes his head at HSV.

Game against Fürth: HSV warns against buying tickets from Viagogo

Should Darmstadt slip up against Magdeburg on Friday or Heidenheim against Sandhausen on Saturday afternoon, one or the other could be tempted to play at the Volksparkstadion on Saturday evening. However, the people of Hamburg strongly advise against shopping at Viagogo, as there is a high risk of disappointment with such a ticket when you enter (in vain).

Incidentally, a seat ticket in the A tier of the west stand is available for 572 euros. Extortionate prices without a stadium guarantee. Either way, the Volkspark should turn into a madhouse on Saturday. The stadium is completely full for the seventh time in a row, and the average attendance is higher than it has been since 2016.

Volksparkstadion is sold out for the seventh time in a row

Despite all the hype surrounding the HSV games, most fans would prefer the Fürth game to be the last one in the Volkspark for the foreseeable future. At least until mid-August, when the new Bundesliga season begins.

Any relegation in the Volkspark would increase on June 5th. In both scenarios, one thing would be certain: it will definitely be full – without standing room tickets for 136 euros.
