Brad Pitt is selling his Los Feliz home for $39 million nearly three decades after buying it for $1.7 million

Brad Pitt officially bids farewell to his Los Feliz, California campus after being owned and remodeled for nearly three decades.

The actor, 59, recently sold it for $39 million, which is a far cry from the $1.7 million he spent buying it the home of horror icon Elvira in 1994, as per TMZ.

The property was originally listed for $45 million in January, but it’s unclear what caused the price to drop.

Pitt lived in the home with ex-wife Angelina Jolie and their six children before their split in 2016, but also lived independently for many years.

The Fight Club actor is set to move from Los Angeles to a $40 million residence in the small beach town of Carmel, Northern California.

Nestled within a gated community, this stunning Hollywood Hills property is steeped in history spanning over 110 years.

Reportedly built by an oil baron in 1910, it’s where rock legend Jimmy Hendrix wrote his 1967 hit “May This Be Love.”

Brad has spent years renovating and building new additions to the property with a team of world-class architects and designers.

The Interview With A Vampire star is said to have been very involved in the design process to create his perfect abode.

To expand the acreage, he bought several adjoining plots of land.

The main house on the property is a whopping 6,700 square feet and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Craftsman-style California accommodation features a gray roof and brick chimneys.

There is a paved driveway that turns into a walkway that leads directly to the ground floor.

An abundance of trees and other lush landscaping allows for optimal privacy.

To the right of the property are two swimming pools with a hot tub and a large koi pond.

On the left is a skate park with a full pipe.

There’s also a movie theater, a garage for Brad’s motorcycle collection, and at least four guest houses.

Sources claim that guest houses each had two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Pitt reportedly has a $100 million real estate portfolio that includes his half of the $160 million French winery he co-owns with ex-wife Angelina, according to Velvetropes.com.

The former couple bought the “Chateau Miraval” in 2011 and married in 2014 in a chapel on the premises.

Pitt and Jolie are currently in the midst of a legal battle over the Changeling actress’ desire to sell her portion.

Pitt accused her of intentionally “causing harm” by making the sale with a “complete stranger,” violating their agreement.

Meanwhile, Jolie slammed Pitt’s claims as “frivolous, malicious and part of a problematic pattern,” according to court filings obtained by RadarOnline last year.

Pitt also owned properties in the Hollywood Hills, New Orleans, Malibu and a $5 million beach house in Goleta.

Pitt recently spent $40 million on DL James’ historic home known as the “Seaward,” which overlooks California’s stunning Central Coast in Carmel.

It is reportedly the most expensive property ever sold in the area.

Pitt is said to be dating LA-based model Ines de Ramon, 29, who split from husband Paul Wesley last year.

The couple have reportedly been dating since November and have been spotted on numerous dates in recent months.

A source told DailyMail.com that Pitt has already introduced Ines to “most” of the six children he shares with Angelina and that he and his new partner have been supportive of each other after “bonding” over their respective divorces .

Though Pitt finds love again, he’s still linked to Jolie as their years-long custody battle rages on.

It took almost a decade and now three of the couple’s six children are of legal age.

Pitt and Jolie share sons Maddox, 21, Pax, 19, Knox, 14, and daughters Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 16, and Vivienne, 14.
