The Brazilian team faced Colombia this Monday, for the third round of Group A of the South American Under-17 Championship, and won by 3-1. The result, built by Dudu, Riquelme and Rayan, makes the team assume the leadership of the key and crave the early classification for the final hexagonal. William López was the one who discounted for the Colombians.

Brazil now has seven points, three less than Ecuador, in second place. The team remains undefeated in the tournament, as it drew 2-2 with the Ecuadorians in the debut and then beat Chile 3-0.

It is worth remembering that the Ecuadorians will still play this Wednesday, against Uruguay, at 9 pm (Brasília time).

Colombia, in turn, remains in fourth place with only one unit. In the other two games, it was only tied with Uruguay, 0-0, and lost to Ecuador by 4-0.

In the fourth round, the Colombians face Chile at the Christian Benítez Stadium, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time). Brazil will only play in the fifth round. The match is scheduled for this Friday against Uruguay, at the George Capwell Stadium, at 21:00.

The first half of the duel did not raise expectations for either side. The match was marked by a certain balance, but without clear chances of goals.

The only dangerous move came with Brazil, in the 19th minute. The national team accelerated through the corner and the opposing defense threw it to the side. After the kick, Kauã Elias received it in the middle of the area, facing the goal, but the ball was like a bomb on the crossbar and did not enter.

In the second stage, the scenario was moving towards the same predictions, until the score was changed.

At the seventh minute, Kauã took off on the right, invaded the area and tried to pass the defender, who ended up pushing the Brazilian striker and committed the penalty. Dudu went for the ball, hit the right corner and the goalkeeper almost managed to save it, but the net was full.

At 21, however, Colombia tied. William López, unmarked, received inside the small area and only had the job of pushing for the goal.

Without much time to celebrate, the Colombian team took the tie in the next minute. Rayan came out on the left, made a good move and gave a beautiful launch to Riquelme on the other side of the field. The number 17 shirt dominated and hit the goal, scoring a great goal and closing the count.

Near the end, there was still time to extend the count. After a corner kick, Rayan manages to deflect the ball and score the third to close the scoring.
