British actor Bobby Davro breaks his silence after losing his fiancee to cancer

Bobby Davro (pictured, left) has broken his silence on the death of his fiancé, Vicky Wright (pictured, right), saying he only now feels “strong enough” to speak out. The 64-year-old actor was devastated when his partner – the daughter of the late England captain Billy Wright and Beverley Sisters singer Joy Beverley – died on Wednesday May 4, aged 63 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer passed away In the early hours of Friday, Bobby shared a message expressing his grief at Vicky’s death, which he described as “devastating”.

The former EastEnders star wrote: “It has been just over a week since my beautiful @vickywright5459 left this world and only now do I feel empowered to share my feelings.” I want to thank everyone for their support and theirs Thank you for the expressions of love and kindness you have shown me and Vicky’s family and loved ones…”

“The thought that we will never hear her voice, hear her laugh, look into her beautiful eyes and see her smile, hug her and kiss her is devastating and so incredibly painful.” She will forever be in my thoughts and heart . “She was my Schluff and I loved her and always will.”

Bobby then shared a stunning photo of Vicky and wrote, “I will miss you so much and love you forever.” RIP my beautiful Schluffe. No more pain, darling. No more pain.’

Bobby got back to work and performing just a day after Vicky’s death – he vowed to perform despite the pain so as not to disappoint his fans who had bought tickets to the show. Several Twitter users commented on the post to wish Bobby well during this difficult time, and one wrote: “Thinking of you, what a beautiful woman.”

Another said, “Bob, my heart breaks for you.” The thought of not being able to laugh with you guys breaks my heart. Vicky will always be a great woman and our brush gaming champion. Try to stay strong, Star Man xx.’

A third wrote: “Please accept my sincere condolences,” while a fourth added: “So sorry for your loss RIP Vicky.”

Despite his grief, Bobby took the stage at the Tivoli Theater in Wimborne on May 5 to perform four shows for his friend Jim Davidson’s online comedy channel Ustreme. Jim (pictured), 69, used his YouTube channel to confirm Bobby’s performance and praised the fellow showbiz legends for being a “soldier” who knows the show must go on. The former Big Break host said, “We have to say goodbye to Vicky Wright.” It’s a sad old day. I’m down here in Wimborne at the Tivoli Theater on the set of Ustream’s “Left, Right and Center,” the award-winning panel show, and I’m sitting in Miles Crawford’s seat and we’re all a little quiet today. Not only because we miss our friend Vicky Wright, but also because her fiancé, Bobby Davro, is showing up in 15 minutes. He knows he’s determined to be on those shows.”
