Britney Spears reveals she finally met Lance Bass’ kids

It appears that Britney Spears And Lance Bass are finally joining forces after all these years!

The former NSYNC member, 44, said in an interview published last month that the 41-year-old pop star “got him crazy” about meeting his kids. It seems the ‘Hold Me Closer’ singer wanted to make amends when she shared a photo of her posing with his family on Twitter on Monday night!

On Saturday afternoon, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer deactivated her Instagram account again. It’s unclear how long she intends to keep her Instagram account closed, but she’s not completely off social media. On Monday night, she shared on Twitter two photos of her posing with Bass and the two children he has with husband Michael Turchin: a son named Alexander and a daughter named Violet, whom they welcomed via a surrogate mother.

“I’m a new aunt to Lance’s babies!!! They are absolutely beautiful babies!!!” Britney wrote in the caption. Britney’s husband, an Iranian actor, can be seen in one of the photos Sam AsghariYou can also see her in a denim jacket and baseball cap. Britney wore aviator sunglasses and a long-sleeved red floral top as she posed for photos with his two children.

Many fans congratulated Britney on her new “aunt” status. “I love this Britney. You look so happy – so much joy in your smile!” one fan commented. “Awww. We love seeing you in life and I’m sure it’s great to be with someone you’ve known for so long,” shared another follower. “Oh my god, I’m so glad you guys are reunited! Lance loves you so much and has been trying endlessly to get in touch with you. It makes me so so so so happy,” chimed in a third fan.

Lance Bass said it was difficult to get in touch with Britney, even after her conservatory years had ended

In early June, Lance Bass opened up about his relationship with the pop star on an episode of his iHeart Radio podcast, Frosted Tips. During an interview with music executive Johnny Wright, Bass revealed that Britney was scheduled to meet his children during their conservatory years, which ran from February 2008 to November 2021.

“She got in touch through her people and wanted to meet the kids and all that,” he explained, saying her team eventually “cut the meeting short.” He went on to say that it was “very strange” to want to talk to Britney because “you have to talk about people” and wasn’t able to talk to Britney directly.

Although her conservatory work has now ended, Bass admitted, “I don’t know about her,” and said he has not had direct contact since her conservatory work ended.

Bass made similar statements the year before. In June 2022, at the Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s sixth annual World Dog Day in West Hollywood, California, Bass told Page Six that after she left the conservatory, he tried to contact Britney, but to no avail.

When asked if the two had been in contact, he said “not at all,” adding that there was still “a wall” around them that made it difficult for them to make contact. “And for some reason these people don’t want their old friends involved in their lives,” Bass added.

Though they were close in the ’90s and early 2000s, Bass admitted in a July 2021 podcast interview that he hadn’t spoken to the singer in “years.” “We were kept apart for quite a while,” he said at the time, admitting they last saw each other in 2016.

Fans are happy to see the two are finally getting back together, just days after Britney reconnected with another famous face from her past, will.i.am. At midnight on Friday, the Black Eyed Peas frontman released his new song “Mind Your Business” featuring Britney Spears. The two have collaborated several times over the decades, including on Scream & Shout.

Although “Scream & Shout” has a music video, there is no information as to whether “Mind Your Business” will have a music video. The single is Britney’s second song after her time as a conservator. Her first was Hold Me Closer with Sir Elton John. There was a music video for the song, but neither Britney nor Elton appeared in it.
