The resident of a house in Fuchsweg came across two burglars on Wednesday afternoon. At around 12:30 p.m., the strangers gained access to the property by levering open a garden gate and went to the terrace.
There they were seen and spoken to by the woman, whereupon they fled. Both men are described as being around 25 to 30 years old, about 170 to 175 cm tall and of slim build.
One of the perpetrators had longer brown hair, a slight growth of beard and was wearing a blue jacket and gray trousers.
The second wore, among other things, a gray and white top with a red bar. An initiated manhunt with several police patrols has so far been unsuccessful. The Leinfelden-Echterdingen police station is investigating. (pol/sm)
