CBF exposes the Brazilian brand to improvisation and defeat against Morocco – 03/25/2023

As much as it is known that the CBF is waiting for Carlo Ancelotti’s decision, as much as there is discredit in public opinion about Brazilian coaches, the truth is that nobody is taking the Brazilian team seriously.

Ramon Menezes is a great guy, perfect for the under-20 team.

But the team played half clay, half brick, in Morocco. Half main team, by Casemiro, half under-20, by Andrey Santos, a little renewed, with Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior forming the attack.

Ramon set up the team in 4-4-2, two lines of four, proved to be up to date by making a 3-2-5 in the attack — line of Émerson Royal, Rony, Rodrygo, Paquetá and Vinicius Junior in front — but without enough aggressiveness to have more than possession of the ball.

The team was playing well, when their goal was disallowed, due to Vinicius Junior’s impediment.

Three minutes later, Boufal scored for Morocco.

The young Brazilian team felt it. Morocco could have made it 2-0 in the first half, before returning to the second stage and continuing with a below-normal performance.

Then, Ramon Menezes changed the team and there was a reaction, with a goal by Casemiro. Soon after, the Moroccan winning goal, by Sabiri.

The selection has to be taken seriously and you can’t make a team without commitment.

It’s Brazil.

Émerson Royal failed in the first goal, Militão in the second.

The renewal explains the defeat. Improvisation too.

The charge does not have to be on Ramon Menezes. It has to be the president of the CBF. It is not possible to expose the brand of the Brazilian team in improvisation, as it was done.

Is Ancelotti coming in July? Or will Brazil be at its mercy?

Brazil needs a football project. Today, it doesn’t.

The CBF wants to respond to public opinion, it doesn’t know what to do if Ancelotti doesn’t come and exposes Brazilian football to the second consecutive defeat against a team from Africa.
