Chrishell Stause teases Relationship’s cameo on ‘Selling Sunset’

Chrishell Stause would like to continue to upset a certain demographic.

The Selling Sunset star surprised fans when she revealed in a May 11 Instagram video that she and partner G Flip had exchanged vows. One photo showed them touching lips at an altar. After the couple made things official, the hit Netflix series decided to include a “bonus scene” in its current sixth season, and some people had no hesitation in expressing their displeasure.

Although Stause and her new wife were seen in a five-minute clip trying to bake a birthday cake for Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa, some critics took offense at the display of love between the two women. While one person left several puking emojis in the comments section, another called it “disgusting,” and a third wrote:

“🙄Give me a break – let me try to join the LGB community and try desperately to stay relevant.”

The real estate agent didn’t allow attacks on their love relationship, so she took a screenshot of the negative comments and posted it on her Instagram story. “@netflix just released a bonus scene of me and @gflip that is not included in #SellingSunset. I REALLY can’t wait to piss off all the homophobes 🥰🙌🥰😆,” she wrote of the snap.

Despite the unsavory tone of the news, thousands of fans had shown their support for Stause and Flip’s connection after the former posted the above footage of their wedding day.

The Blast noticed that The roll featured the non-binary singer’s song “Be Your Man,” which she dedicated to the “All My Children” actress to emphasize their incredible bond. The photo showed Flip in a black two-piece suit and white sneakers, while her heartthrob wore a simple white dress with thigh-high slits and sheer heels.

“Love doesn’t always go as planned… Sometimes it’s immeasurably better,” the Days of Our Lives star began in the post’s caption, before telling her fans where to get the song. She then added that everyone who met her partner knew that she was “one of the nicest, funniest, most talented and hard-working people out there.”

The sweet sentiment touched the hearts of people who saw it, including her boyfriend, who aptly commented: “My darling, I adore and love you with all my heart. Those are the cutest words and that’s the cutest little edit 🥹🥹🥹 You make me so happy ❤️ Thank you x.”

Although they broke up because of his disinterest in children, Stause’s ex, Jason Oppenheim, was beyond excited to see her walk down the aisle with Flip. The President and founder of the Oppenheim Group was among the many public figures who left a congratulatory message in the comments section of the 41-year-old’s wedding announcement.

“I am SO excited about this!! You and G are the most inspirational couple; Your affection is pure. I love you both and am so lucky to have you both in my life. 😍 Congratulations!” his unexpected comment read.

As of this writing, over 10,000 people have liked the comment and over 60 others have replied to it, with one netizen calling him “a wonderful friend and an amazing person.” Another person claimed that Oppenheim “shows us what an emotionally mature man looks like,” and Stause himself agreed: “So cute 🥹🥰🙌👑.”

Other celebs who congratulated the newlyweds included Maya Vander, Chelsea Lazkani and Emma Hernan. While Vander commented, “Congratulations!!!🍾 ❤️❤️,” Lazkani typed, “I’m not crying, I’m not crying, I’m not crying!! I love you so much. Congratulations 🎉❤️❤️❤️.”

Stause first mentioned that she’d found love for Flip during the season five reunion of Selling Sunset, which took place shortly after she and Oppenheim broke up. Meanwhile, Oppenheim once called her “the love of my life” during a conversation with her co-star Mary Fitzgerald-Bonnet.
