An intense mass of cold air of polar origin causes very low temperatures in Argentina, Uruguay and influences Rio Grande do Sul. Temperatures below zero must be observed in some areas of Rio Grande do Sul.
Dry air prevails over most areas of the Southeast, Midwest and interior of the Northeast, making rain difficult.
Some thunderclouds grow in the northern part of Brazil where there is more humidity and heat. Rain clouds also grow along the northeast coast.
