Court: Schröder has no right to an office in the Bundestag

The process is unique so far – and of fundamental importance. In May 2022, the Bundestag canceled Gerhard Schröder’s office. The former chancellor has appealed against this.
Berlin. Former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder has no right to an office in the Bundestag. That was the decision of the Berlin administrative court and a complaint by the SPD politician against a decision by the budget committee of the Bundestag was rejected.
In May 2022, he had withdrawn some of his special rights and shut down his office.
