CPN UML Leader and former Politician Subas Chandra Nemwang passes away: cause of death

Subash Chandra Nembang, a prominent CPN-UML leader, passed away this morning. He was 70. Nembang served as the CPN-UML’s vice-chair, the Constituent Assembly chair, and the previous speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR). According to reports, he had a heart attack. Nembang passed away while receiving treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) at 1:30 am today, his secretary, Krishna Prasad Kafle, reported to the media. He was immediately taken to the hospital after the complications.

Active in politics, since his early age, Nemwang served as the Constitutional Assembly Chairperson from 2008 to 2012 and 2013 to 2015.

Subas Nemwang has been suffering from a high fever since Monday morning. The doctor came to Nemwang’s house to examine his health. During that time, he had a 102-degree fever.

As per the Gorkhapatra, he underwent with a heart attack at home and was immediately taken to the Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj, Kathmandu for the treatment but he died on the way.
