Deadpool 3 might kill Wolverine, but it won’t be as bad as his worst Marvel death

Wolverine’s death doesn’t stick around for long, meaning he’s been killed many times over the years – but few of the Canadian’s deaths with his claws have been as gruesome as those he sustained at the hands of the Horseman of Death on the sides of the Writer Rick Remender’s “Uncanny X-Force.” The servant of the apocalypse used his powers to make Wolverine suffer from every disease and ailment in human history simultaneously.

This death was outstanding even for Wolverine because it wasn’t a singular death. Rather, every time Logan died from diseases caused by death, from cancer to bubonic plague, he was cured by his mutant abilities, only to die just as horribly all over again.

Although several people working on the project have confirmed that “Deadpool 3” is rated “R” with the same irreverent shock comedy that made its predecessors so memorable, it’s hard to imagine that this particular fatality is brought to the screen. Even if Disney were willing to portray it, the VFX work alone would be prohibitive. Also, the Horseman of Death doesn’t exist without Apocalypse himself, and the original blue mutant made an appearance – and was defeated – in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse.
