Deployment of the fire brigade in the Dorsten-Ost industrial port

In the Dorsten-Ost industrial area, more precisely in the industrial port, there was a large fire brigade operation early Tuesday afternoon (March 28).

There was an emergency on a loading crane. One person had to be rescued from the work platform with great effort using height rescuers.

The crane driver had a medical problem and was therefore unable to climb down on his own. Since the stairway to the work station, which was about twelve meters high, was very narrow, the fire brigade had to lower the crane driver outside the stairs using a double safety device/rope guide. He was examined on the ground by an ambulance and then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
