Dwayne The Rock Johnson step in and help in times of need.

The 51-year-old actor has made the largest single donation ever received by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Emergency Financial Assistance Program.

The fund has helped provide financial assistance to many of the 160,000 SAG-AFTRA members during the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to do so during the strike. It is estimated that between 7,000 and 10,000 members need help.

They said that dwayne made a seven-figure donation that will help thousands of actors in need.

“I want to say thank you dwayne for his tremendous generosity, compassion and initiative to serve our community in such a significant and meaningful way. On behalf of the thousands who will be helped by his historic donation, thank you, thank you,” Courtney called.

Cyd added: “It is the largest single donation we have ever received from an individual at once. And the amazing thing is, that one check will help thousands of actors keep food on their tables, keep their kids safe, and keep their cars running. And it’s not lost on me that he’s very humble about that, but it’s a way to help us get started.”
