EA Sports PGA Tour Release Date
Electronic Arts has announced that the release of EA Sports PGA Tour has been postponed, but thankfully, the delay is minimal. Originally set to launch on March 24th of 2023 the game will now be available globally on April 7th, with players who have secured an early access release being able to play the game on April 4th. The reason for the delay, according to EA’s blog post, is to create a more authentic golf experience and make some final improvements to the game, including updates to courses to reflect 2023 designs. This delay is relatively short compared to others, and the timing is fitting as it coincides with the Masters Tournament that same week, which is when most players will be looking forward to playing the game. EA Sports PGA Tour will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with the Deluxe and EA Play Pro Editions offering early access to the game.

EA Sports PGA Tour 2023 Review
After being out of the limelight for seven years, EA Sports’ golfing games are making a comeback with EA Sports PGA Tour. The game promises to be one of the most extensive and nuanced golfing experiences to date, featuring all four men’s majors: The Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, U.S. Open Championship, and The Open Championship. Players will have access to 30 courses, including 28 real-life courses and two fantasy courses, such as Augusta Nationals Golf Club, Torrey Pines, and The Old Course at St Andrews. More courses are planned for release beyond the launch.
EA Sports PGA Tour is exclusive to next-generation consoles, allowing for stunning graphics and photo realistic detail in the environments, lakes, and ponds. The player models have also been given meticulous attention to detail, with fan favourites and world champions like Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Champ, and Xander Schauffele outlining the roster.
Pure Strike gameplay is one of the new features in EA Sports PGA Tour, which gives players over 20 different shot types to conquer the green, challenging the approach, and intention along with the club selection and shot accuracy. Motion captured stances by every golfer in the game mean that no two swings will ever look or feel the same, and detailed feedback will bring more accurate ball behaviour and course dynamics. The game will also feature Big Hit moments, cinematic camera angles, and slow-motion shots to add tension to every shot and close call.

EA Sports PGA Tour 2023 Gameplay
EA Sports PGA Tour, also known as EA Sports PGA Tour: Road to the Masters, is a sports video game created by EA Tiburon and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It belongs to the EA Sports PGA Tour franchise, which had its last release in 2015 with Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. This latest installment is the first in the series without an athlete’s name in the title since PGA Tour 98.
The gameplay of this new version includes a fresh system called Pure Strike, which involves different aspects of a golf shot, and is linked with ShotLink, the PGA Tour’s statistics tool, and TrackMan. The game allows players to choose from a variety of tour players, including Cameron Champ, Tony Finau, Nelly Korda, Hideki Matsuyama, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Im Sung-jae, and Lexi Thompson.
With 30 courses at the time of release, the game has Augusta National Golf Club as a playable course for the first time since Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14.
EA Sports PGA Tour was first revealed in March 2021 and is powered by the Frostbite engine, similar to its predecessor.
