Emmy Rossum is a Muva again and has given birth to a healthy baby boy

Emmy Rossum entered a new phase of life: mothering two under 2. On Wednesday, she welcomed a son into the world.

The shameless The actress shared the exciting news on Instagram today and some pictures commemorating the moment. “5/4/23,” wrote Rossum. “On a foggy Wednesday morning our son was born.”

Rossum shared her son’s footprints, his date of birth, time of birth, 10:40 a.m., his weight of 6 pounds and 10 ounces and his length of 19.5 inches. Judging from all the information we’ve gotten about the little guy, Rossum is thrilled to meet this person who inhabited her body for nine months.

She shared a picture of her pregnant belly looking like she was ready to burst. She keeps her shirt open so her followers have the best view of her stomach. Rossum was fully digested during her pregnancy.

She’s one of those pregnant women who doesn’t look pregnant from behind. Also, it’s important to point out that Rossum hasn’t told anyone she’s expecting. As with her last pregnancy, she hid the big news and her bulging belly from her social media fans and the dads.

No word on a name just yet, but Rossum shared a sweet recent snap of her little boy’s small lips and plump cheeks. He’s wrapped in a blanket like a little burrito. She tags her husband, writer/director Sam Esmail, who sadly isn’t on Instagram anymore because it’s owned by Facebook – enough said.

The two tied the knot in 2017 after a few years of dating. This new baby is the second for the couple.

Since sharing the news, Rossum has immediately ditched IG and will likely attend to her mum’s duties. Rossum hasn’t updated her fans with her pregnancy progress or pictures here and there. She is very private about her personal life.

The singer is now a mother of two children under the age of two, and if she previously thought parenthood was a ride, now it gets even crazier!

Last Mother’s Day, Rossum shared some memorable moments in her first year as a mom, and this year she welcomed a new baby and will be celebrating her second Mother’s Day with baby #2. Will she have baby #3 by next Mother’s Day?

“Mother’s Day. First year was filled with playing, crawling, eating, putting pacifiers in mouth and holding hands. I am so deeply grateful to be your mom,” she wrote. Emmy shared pictures of her baby girl snuggling up to her , hand painted, crawling or at least trying to and enjoying a day at the park So many fun milestones!

Rossum’s friends, fans and family flooded their comments section with love for their new bundle of joy and the journey of having two children. “That’s nice. Congratulations to you and your family!”
