EXCLUSIVE: Former President Trump said his federal indictment was “election interference at the highest level” and told Fox News Digital that the Biden administration was “the most corrupt” in history.
During an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital Thursday night, Trump said the case was “election interference” and “the greatest witch hunt of all time.” Trump said he would “of course” plead not guilty in federal court on Tuesday, saying he was “completely innocent.”
Trump, the current front runner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, was indicted Thursday night on federal charges arising from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s months-long investigation into the former president’s alleged improper storage of classified documents in Mar-a-Lago.

“This is the most corrupt government in history — there has never been a government so corrupt and they are just beginning to discover it,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “They’re trying to ward off all their dishonesty by bringing up this ridiculous box fraud case.”
He added, “You’re not going to get away with this.”
Joe Biden allegedly paid $5 million to a Burisma leader as part of a bribery scheme, FBI document says
“I did absolutely nothing wrong,” he said, citing the Presidential Records Act, which “makes me completely innocent.”
A special prosecutor is being investigated against President Biden for the alleged improper keeping of secret documents from his time as Vice President of the Obama administration and as a Senator.
When asked if he thought Biden could face charges as well, Trump replied, “Probably not — nothing’s going to happen.”
He said the charges came Thursday because an allegation, first uncovered by Fox News Digital, surfaced that same day that Biden received $5 million for involvement in a bribery scheme.
Fox News Digital exclusively reported hours before the indictment that a confidential human source told the FBI in a June 2020 interview that President Biden allegedly paid $5 million from an executive at Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board.
Well-known sources informed Fox News Digital of the contents of the subpoenaed FD-1023 form prepared by the FBI, which alleges a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreigner that involved influencing US policy decisions.
“The reason they did this today, at this point in time, is that the $5 million in the document was discovered, and that’s just the beginning,” Trump said.

Fox News Digital exclusively reported that the FD-1023 form was an interview with a “very credible” confidential source, who details multiple meetings and conversations he or she had over the course of several years, beginning in 2015, with a top manager from Burisma. Fox News Digital has not seen the form, but it has been described by multiple sources aware of the content.

The confidential source said the Burisma executive told him he “paid” the Bidens “through so many different bank accounts” in a way that investigators “couldn’t solve for at least 10 years.”

The document then refers to “The Big Guy,” which is said to be a reference to Joe Biden.
The Burisma manager told the confidential source that he “didn’t pay the big guy directly.”
