Galaxy S23 FE may not be anticipated as previously imagined, instead model should debut in the penultimate quarter of 2023
For weeks we have been reporting reports that Samsung could anticipate the launch of the Galaxy S23 FE to increase the sale of its line of flagships and present a more popular model for those looking for a high-performance cell phone. But new information indicates that these plans would be discarded.
The change happens by importing and exporting recent database records. According to the very reliable informant Roland Quandt, the appearance of a device at this moment indicates that its launch will take place in three or four months.
A practical example is in the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. The devices appeared in databases around April and more recent leaks indicate that the folding duo will be announced on July 26, almost three months later.
Knowing that the Galaxy S23 FE appeared in this type of database on April 28th, we expect that the device will not be presented until the months of August or September.
What to expect from the Galaxy S23 FE
After a year of hiatus, Samsung is expected to return with the Fan Edition version of a Galaxy S model this year. The aggressively priced Galaxy S23 FE is expected to repeat the success of the S20 FE whose interest remains high to this day.
The model will be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2200 chip, will have the same 50 MP main camera as the Galaxy S23 and should bet on a good quality screen with a high refresh rate, 4,500 mAh battery with 25 W recharge and wireless charging, plus protection against water and dust.
Despite this, Samsung can still announce the Galaxy S23 FE alongside the foldable duo in late July and start sales of the device weeks later in August. The Unpacked event is already scheduled and more details should come out soon.
