Georgina Rodriguez reveals she bought her closet at IKEA

Georgina Rodriguez has revealed that she bought her walk-in closet at IKEA.

The 29-year-old girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo, whose net worth is estimated at £8million, made the admission on series two of her Netflix reality show I Am Georgia.

The former sales assistant had no qualms about admitting she’d shopped at the budget home goods store as she proudly revealed they’d saved money by ditching the “expensive” high-end alternatives.

Georgina had been living in a £5.5million mansion in Manchester when she was filming scenes for the programme, as the 38-year-old footballer had been signed to Manchester United at the time.

The influencer, whose friend is said to have £363million in the bank, said on the show: “I got that at IKEA too for the trainers and the dressers.

“They are divine and very light, because if you have them made to measure, they are very expensive and weigh like a dead man. This is how you save money and kilos.”

Her extravagant dressing room houses a 150-piece handbag collection from Hermès, Prada and Chanel worth £1.2million, as well as valuable jewelery and a beauty corner with a lightbulb-lined chest of drawers.

Georgina’s stunning clothing items are sorted on different shelves while her shoes are divided into slippers, sneakers, heels and boots.

Georgina recently revealed that when they first met, she thought Cristiano was “so handsome” that she was “embarrassed to look at him.”

The Spanish influencer first met footballer Cristiano in 2016 when she was working as a sales clerk at the Gucci store in Madrid.

The loving couple went public with their romance the following year and they now share two children together, as well as Cristiano’s three other children.

Speaking to The Sun of their first meeting, she said: “He’s such a handsome man.

“When I saw him he was so handsome I was embarrassed to look at him. Let’s just say it was butterflies in my stomach.’

It’s not the first time Georgina has gushed about their first chance encounter, saying in 2020 that she “fell in love at first sight.”

She claimed the feeling was mutual after they met in a previous interview with Italian magazine ELLE.

Georgina said: “The first meeting with Ronaldo was at Gucci, where I worked as a sales assistant. Days later we met again at an event of another brand.

“Then we were able to talk in a relaxed atmosphere away from my work environment. It was love at first sight for both of them.”

Her latest comments come after Georgina accidentally escaped the weirdest place she and her boyfriend had sex.

During a recent episode of the second season of her Netflix show I Am Georgina, the model revealed that she and Ronaldo once had sex at her spa.

According to Spanish news site Marca, Georgina said: “I had avoided bathing at the beach but I came home and Cris told me to go to the spa.

“I was super rubbing my arms in the spa so they didn’t get wet.

“I was tired of having arms like that. Even in the swimming pool at home, I hardly ever get up and say: “I give up.”

Realizing what Georgina was proposing, one of Ronaldo’s pals named Ivan then said, “You could have made love in bed, not at the spa.”

Then Georgina blurted out, ‘No, we did it there.’

Realizing what she had just said, Georgina fell silent before her sister asked, “Did you sleep at the spa?”

Ivan then jokingly added: “She got nervous.”

Her Netflix show I Am Georgina follows the influencer in her daily life and the first series aired in January 2022, followed by the second episode in March 2023.

Cristiano has son Christiano Jnr, 12, and twins Eva and Mateo, five, who he had before he met Georgina, and they are parents to daughter Alana Martina, four.

In October 2021, the couple announced they were expecting twins, but tragically their son died in childbirth on April 18, while their daughter Bella Esmeralda survived.

The Manchester United star welcomed son Cristiano Jr and twins Eva and Mateo with surrogate mothers.

Ronaldo’s eldest son Cristiano Jr. was born in the United States in 2010 but was immediately brought back to Madrid to grow up in Spain. The identity of his mother is unknown.

In June 2017, the then-Real Madrid star surprised fans with the news that he had welcomed twins Eva and Mateo through a surrogate, and just a month later he and Georgina announced they were expecting their first child together.

Cristiano has claimed in the past he wants to increase his child count to seven, matching his infamous jersey number and lifestyle brand CR7.
