Gwendlyn is unsure if estranged father Kody will attend her wedding
In a Q&A via her Patreon account, Gwendlyn previously mentioned that certain family members would be left out of her big day, but didn’t mention who. She revealed that she invited her father Kody and his wife Robyn Brown and their five children to her wedding.
Although she lives near Kody and Robyn in Flagstaff, Arizona, she hasn’t seen them in a very long time. “So my dad and Robyn and all these kids are invited,” Gwendlyn announced. “I don’t know if they want to come. It seems like we were somehow avoided by him. I don’t think he wants anything to do with the rest of us. I really hope they come, I miss my siblings terribly,” he said sister wives added a star.
Who will walk Gwendlyn Brown down the aisle?
On April 7, Gwendlyn responded sister wives Season 17, Episode 17. During the Q&A at the end of the video, a fan asked her about her plans for her big day. “Are you thinking of letting one of your brothers walk you down the aisle? (if a short-term reconciliation with Kody is not in sight),” the fan asked.

Gwendlyn liked the suggestion immediately. “I think Logan [Brown] or hunter [Brown] as a wedding companion would be great,” she said. With reconciliation appearing to be off the table, Gwendlyn said she plans to walk down the aisle herself.
“I thought about just walking down the aisle, but now that I actually think about it, that’s really adorable. So I’ll definitely consider it. It’s so sweet to have my brother [walk me down the aisle,]” She said.

“Because when I was a kid, when we went dancing with father and daughter, all the girls would choose my father. But I had a tendency to choose Logan to represent my dad because I want to have my little special moment. And that would actually be so cute,” she said.
As sister wives Fans recall the school dance Gwendlyn is talking about is shown in an early season. Many Sister Wives fans have used this as evidence that the adults in the family were “parenting” their eldest son, Logan, putting too much responsibility on him. Teenager Logan has often been spotted making breakfast for many of his younger siblings every morning. He even helped his mothers discipline the kids since Kody was often absent.
Logan has always been a consistent, loving character to Gwendlyn. With Kody failing to be there for most of his children, it seems like Logan is more of a father figure than Kody is to them. It will be interesting to see whether or not Kody and Robyn will show up for the ceremony and who will escort the bride down the aisle. Maybe Gwendlyn and Beatriz’s wedding will be filmed sister wives Season 18 is reportedly set to return in September 2023.
