Hannover 96 cooperates with Japanese second division team

Hannover 96 has agreed to cooperate with the Japanese second division club FC Mito Hollyhock. The focus of the cooperation should be in the youth sector, as the German second division soccer team announced on Friday. Among other things, one top talent from Mito is to change to the 96 academy on loan each season in order to play in the U23 team. The cooperation with the club from the city of 270,000 inhabitants around 140 kilometers north of Tokyo will start in July 2023 and will initially run for three years. With full-back Sei Muroya, there is currently a Japanese player in the team of 96.
