Heather Rae El Moussa teases the birth of baby #2

Nearly three months after Heather Rae El Moussa gave birth to her first child with husband Tarek El Moussa, the couple have opened up about their fertility journey.

The couple chatted forthrightly about their IVF experience and what Heather planned to do with the embryos they saved before they discovered they were pregnant. The reveal came as the duo sat with singer and actress Jennifer Hudson and saw the former laborer joke that she wanted to have another child with her partner as soon as possible.

Heather’s journey to becoming a birth mother wasn’t easy, as she and Tarek recently told Jennifer Hudson on the show of the same name. Her husband started the conversation by declaring:

“We went through the IVF process because we didn’t think Heather could conceive. We went through the whole thing, doctors and vaccinations, everything.”

Although of course they were happy when they found out they had gotten pregnant, they kept some of the embryos from their IVF process. For Heather, this move kept hope alive that one day they would “maybe have another baby.” for her.

The news shocked her boyfriend, who quickly regrouped and shared: “I don’t know that. Perhaps. Whatever she wants is fine.”

Heather later gushed about becoming a mother while also being a stepmother to the two children her husband shares with ex-wife Christina Hall – son Brayden James and daughter Taylor Reese. In the words of the Selling Sunset star:

“I didn’t think I would be so obsessed with having a baby. And I have two beautiful stepkids and they are amazing and they made me want to have children. It’s like an obsession that I never thought could happen and the female body is the most incredible thing it goes through.”

While this would be the first time she’s publicly acknowledged her stepchildren’s role in her motherhood, it wouldn’t be the first time the model has hinted that she wishes she had more children. “We still have the embryos if we decide to have more in the future,” the 35-year-old beauty began, while Tarek pretended to be shocked by the admission. Heather laughed and recalled, “He said if we decide on another one, it just has to be back-to-back.”

According to The Blastthe first-time mother has uploaded a video compilation showing nostalgic moments of herself with her beloved family from her early trimester to the final days after Tristan’s arrival.

“I’m celebrating my first Mother’s Day as a mom this year but I’m lucky enough to have two bonus kids who make me feel special every year ❤️,” the real estate agent began with her heartwarming caption.

The reality TV star went on to reveal that the birth of her child “completed” her in ways she never thought possible and even changed her “life for the better.”

She ended her article by wishing the “mommies, bonus moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, moms-to-be and mom figures” an “amazing Mother’s Day celebration.” Several casual fans camped out in the comments section and poured out their hearts, like this one, which wrote, “Being lucky enough to be a mom and stepmom is just the best thing 🥰.”
