Helene Fischer thrilled the fans in Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena on Tuesday evening. Not only with hits, also with acrobatics.

Berlin. “Is this really a concert and not an acrobatic show?!”, it shoots through your head on Tuesday evening at 8:02 p.m. at the latest. Because what Germany’s most successful singer, Helene Fischer, brings to the stage of the Mercedes-Benz Arena is far more than just any hit.

While the undisputed hit queen is standing on a swing and floating from a huge diamond from the ceiling, a euphoric murmur goes through the crowd. Fischer’s meanwhile sung “Everything can turn in just one moment / We’ve been longing for this day for so long” from the song “Null to 100” fits like a glove. “Berlin, are you ready?” the singer calls out to her fans after the first round of applause has ended. And without waiting for an answer, she immediately flies through the air again: gymnastics on a red cloth, she sings “Exactly this feeling” in a piercing voice – a melodic stadium anthem that immediately unfolds its effect: In the choir, the audience sings “Exactly this Feeling/ I only have it when we are together” and celebrates his icon.

Helene Fischer performs with the acrobatic group “Cirque du Soleil”.

The enthusiasm seems to be mutual: “It’s so special to be back here, Berlin! You only get love from me, ”announced the pop singer, beaming with joy. “My squad was really excited and looking forward to the capital,” she continues. By “her troupe” Fischer means the world-famous acrobatic group “Cirque du Soleil”. With around 40 artists, she ensures the breathtaking show on Fischer’s “Rausch” tour.

So while Germany’s Schlagerqueen sings “No one is error-free”, their artists put on a flawless performance and do one somersault and split after the other. But the singer herself is part of the madness show all the time. For example, while she sings the dancefloor hit “Herzbeben”, she elegantly and apparently completely casually climbs around in gymnastic rings hanging from the ceiling.

Helene Fischer sings the tones to the point and creates a good atmosphere

This acrobatic exertion doesn’t take away from the musical quality in the slightest. It doesn’t matter whether it’s older songs like “I want to feel it again…this fever” or songs from her latest album like “Full Strength Ahead” – Fischer sings the tones to the point and creates a good mood. It is therefore difficult to say whether the audience finds the music or the show more impressive. But it’s probably a mix of everything. “Everything is just great. The woman is horny, she can sing, she can dance and she’s just a powerful woman,” says 44-year-old Jana. As befits a real Fischer fan, she wears a “Herzbeben” T-shirt and has been to several Fischer concerts before. No wonder. It’s a show of superlatives. And no matter what you think of Fischer’s music, at the latest when she and her friend Thomas Seitel do an acrobatic performance that makes your jaw drop, it’s clear: the Schlagerqueen can entertain acrobatic, vocal and show-like like hardly any other German artist.

If you want to see it for yourself in Berlin, you can do so until June 4th, because as at every location on her tour, the singer will also be a guest here for several days.
