Halftime during the summer holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia: The students in North Rhine-Westphalia have now had three and a half weeks off, with three more weeks to come. They can spend their free time this weekend at the Rheinkirmes in Düsseldorf or the Sommersend in Münster, which start on Friday (July 14). If you don’t feel like going to a fair, you can also go shopping at the weekend. On July 16 there will be a Sunday shopping in six locations in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Sunday shopping in North Rhine-Westphalia: Where the shops are open on July 16th
This means that the selection is at least a little larger than last weekend (July 9th), when there were only two Sundays open for shopping in NRW. This Sunday (July 16) shops are open in the following cities (in alphabetical order)*:
- Bad Münstereifel
- herdeck
- Iserlohn-Letmathe
- Cologne-Lindenthal
- winter mountain
- Xanten
Sunday shopping in Bad Münstereifel
In the historic old town of Bad Münstereifel, which was badly affected by the flood disaster two years ago, is busy this weekend (July 14th to 16th). There is a fair with carousels, bumper cars and many snack and sales stands. In addition, there is a shopping Sunday in the City Outlet, on which the shops open between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Sunday shopping in Herdecke
Connoisseurs come in this weekend (July 14-16). herdeck get their money’s worth – at the Street Food Festival. The organizers announce around 20 food trucks, a large selection of drinks and a colorful program for young and old. The retailers invite you to go shopping on Sunday shopping from 1 to 6 p.m.
Sunday shopping in Iserlohn-Letmathe
Also in Iserlohn-Letmathe the carousels will spin this weekend (July 14th to 17th). The Kiliankirmes will take place for the 570th time in 2023 and will attract visitors with around 130 stands and rides. On Sunday shopping, the shops in Letmathe are open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday shopping in Cologne-Lindenthal
There will be street food, music and a program for children this weekend (July 14th to 16th) at the “Family and Veedelsfest” in Cologne-Lindenthal. Another highlight of the event is Sunday shopping, when retailers in the Cologne district open their doors between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
