How to Beat the Strider in Armored Core 6?
Connecting with the STRIDER boss is straightforward after a prior encounter. Activate an Assault Boost to cross the desert and spot the imposing silhouette of the mobile fortress. Defeat any encountered ACs, move towards the weaponized mining ship, and beware of The Eye – a devastating blue laser attack that halves your health.
Cripple a boss leg to disable the mining facility. Evade lasers, focus on exposed wiring, and utilize your beam saber. Despite distant threats, concentrate on the leg. This marks the next phase of the Armored Core 6 boss encounter.
Ascending to the Deck, Subduing Sub-Generators:
Overcome cannons and AC opponents before ascending to the main deck. Confront highlighted sub-generators amidst ACs and turrets. Ascend cautiously, halt to replenish boost, and neutralize generators. Proceed, utilizing a catapult mechanism, and repeat for remaining generators.
The Eye’s Demise:
Target The Eye during vulnerable moments. Employ strong attacks to dismantle STRIDER’s final segment. Be cautious and avoid overconfidence. Prudent, methodical actions are key.
Disengagement from the Deck:
Use Assault Boost to disengage, landing nearby to conclude the mission. Victory over STRIDER achieved in Armored Core 6.
Armored Core 6 Strider
The Strider is a manned water-type mechanical vehicle, with dimensions similar to that of an AC, or Armored Core. The machine is equipped with powerful weapons, including machine gun arms that have been turned into weapons, giving it significant firepower. In addition to this, there’s a dual missile launcher cleverly placed with one on each side of its head.
This smart setup ensures a well-balanced offensive strategy. The Strider’s strength lies in its ability to move quickly in the water, allowing it to navigate through aquatic environments with impressive speed. However, it’s important to highlight that this vehicle can only operate in water and isn’t capable of moving on land. Its appearance is reminiscent of the hover-type leg AC design, evoking a sense of familiarity while highlighting its specialization in aquatic environments.
Armored Core 6 Gameplay
In Armored Core VI, battles centered around mechanized vehicles take center stage. Players step into the roles of adept pilots commanding formidable mechanical suits known as Armored Cores. These suits offer extensive customization options through a wide array of components, enabling players to elevate their capabilities. Notably, a standout feature is the freedom to select weaponry, attachable to the suits’ arms and backs, fostering tactical adaptability in diverse combat scenarios.
The well-known arena concept endures in the “combat aptitude evaluation program,” where competitive matches unfold. Successful mission completions yield credits, tied to achieved objectives and adjustable for unmet ones. Noteworthy is the absence of the past burden of a debt system, setting this version apart.
