Although a second season of I Love That For You has not been officially confirmed for spring 2023, the script has apparently already been written.

Actor Matt Rogers, who plays an assistant on the show, recently told television network Paramount Pictures, “I know they wrote it for season two if you want it.”

He said, “I just don’t know if there’s another green light or not because they just renewed Yellowjackets early for a third season, so they’re starting to make some decisions.” They’re discussing expanding successful media properties like shows to franchises. I can’t say where we are.

I Love That For You Season 2 Anticipated Storyline

There is currently no confirmed storyline for Season 2 of I Love That For You. Season 2 would focus on Joanna’s new position at HSN and the consequences of her untruths.

The first season ended with welcome conciseness; Cornered, Joanna finally comes to terms with the lies she’s been telling her friends and co-workers. A job offer offers her another way out. The consequences of exposing their untruths and the damage they cause to their relationships will likely be explored in Season 2.

We didn’t want Joanna to perpetuate that lie forever,” Bayer told IndieWire of the series finale. We were trying to make a show that could go on without her continuing to lie, so she would have to come in at some point. The HSN elements were never fully fleshed out, but brainstorming possible implementations was always a great thing.
