The Ibovespa closed higher this Monday, with the blue chips Vale and Petrobras among the main supports, while the relatively calm news made room for adjustments in stocks such as Locaweb and Alpargatas, which accumulate significant falls in 2023.
Reference index of the Brazilian stock market, the Ibovespa rose 0.94%, to 101,772.31 points, according to preliminary data.
The financial volume amounted to only 13.8 billion reais, against a daily average of around 25 billion reais in the year.
