Jeremy Renner tests the body as snowplow recovery continues

Four months after Jeremy Renner’s traumatic snow plow accident, the actor continues to share his journey of recovery. On Jan. 1, Renner was hospitalized after fracturing over 30 bones and suffering orthopedic injuries and blunt chest trauma when his 14,330-pound snow plow rolled over him while trying to reach his nephew in the snow.

After making a significant recovery in time to celebrate the premiere of his Disney+ series, Rennervations, Renner’s health has continued to improve. Eager to share updates with fans, Renner recently posted an Instagram video showing off his improvements with mobility exercises and taking “the new parts for a little test drive.”

The video shows Renner using exercise equipment while doing multiple exercises to build strength and flexibility in his injured leg.

Renner captioned the video: “UPDATE: I’ve decided to beat the pain of progression (that damn shattered shin) and take the new parts for a tiny test drive. The body is a miracle…”

“Even though I feel like the tin man who needs oil for all my new joints (hip, knee, ankle, shin, etc). Encouraged to keep going after this warm up (don’t tell my PT),” joked Renner.

During the four months, Renner made a few media appearances to explain how the accident happened. After making significant improvements, the actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and sat down with Diane Sawyer for the ABC News special Jeremy Renner: The Diane Sawyer Interview – A Story of Terror, Survival and Triumph.

Shortly after his television appearances, the actor made his first public appearance at the premiere of his reality series, Rennervations, in which he narrated diversity He had “set a goal of walking that carpet.”

In addition to his media appearances, he has shared his victories on social media, including Instagram Stories when he posed with his family at Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park, as well as videos of his recovery milestones.
