Job Fair offers more than 1,194 jobs in Porto Alegre

This Thursday, the 23rd, and Friday, the 24th, the Municipal Sine promotes the Job Fair in the Historic Center. The project proposes to expand the offer of work opportunities and speed up the meeting between candidates and contracting companies. The action is part of Porto Alegre’s birthday celebrations.

This month, the action will be from 9 am to 6 pm, at Avenida Sepúlveda, s/nº. On the first day, from 9 am to 1 pm, the service will be exclusive for people with disabilities (PCD) and rehabilitated from the INSS. The program also includes lectures to provide guidance on the job market, entrepreneurship, among others.

Among the highlights are opportunities such as 100 vacancies for electricians, 50 for service assistants and another 50 for external customer service assistants. For PCD’s, the post with the highest number of vacancies is restaurant attendant, with 40. For students, 50 vacancies are offered for Young Apprentice and internship in administration.

The 1,194 vacancies in this fair are added to those already registered for the week. In all, there are 43 partner companies participating in the task force. They will take turns conducting the interviews between the two days.

Complementary guidance – On Thursday, at 2 pm, the assistant secretary for Social Development, Nelson Beron, will give a lecture on the direction of the labor market. On Friday, at 9:00 am, administrator and state deputy Kaká D’Ávila will provide guidance for anyone looking for a job in the lecture Increase your chances of getting a job.

In the afternoon, two lectures close the program. With the theme Behavior in job interviews, at 2 pm, the coordinator of Sexual Diversity and Combating Intolerance, Gloria Crystal, shares tips and practical guidelines. At 4 pm, the founder of Besouro Social Development Agency, Vinicius Mendes Lima, talks about entrepreneurship in the lecture Empreender é para todos.
