Jojo Siwa has outraged fans on social media after repeatedly pretending to be pregnant

Jojo Siwa’s fans have not taken well to her repeated posts where she joked about her pregnancy.

The 19-year-old social media star, who recently appeared to claim Nickelodeon took a bad reaction to her coming out, has left her followers scratching their heads after she shared multiple photos and videos in March suggesting that she was pregnant.

But she’s also shut down rumors of pregnancy, indicating his posts were meant to be harmless jokes only.

Several fans found the ongoing series of posts “extremely disrespectful and insensitive,” though it seems Jojo has yet to respond to fan backlash.

However, she seemed to brush off any question of pregnancy in a March 27 Snapchat story, in which she clarified via Insiders that she doesn’t want children until later in life.

She added that being gay also means adoption is a more viable option for her in the future.

Jojo’s joking pregnancy posts began this month, though several fans noted that she’s apparently been single since December, when she broke up with TikTok star Avery Cyrus.

In early March, Jojo posted a Snapchat photo of her pulling up her hoodie and placing her hands on her stomach, captioning the misleading photo, “I can’t believe it.”

She followed with a photo of herself appearing to be shopping for baby clothes, although the posts have since disappeared.

Some fans were shocked by the posts, while others realized they were probably jokes.

Even as some of her followers feared she might be too young to carry a child, more sane posters conceded that the dancer was more likely to be pregnant with a “food baby.”

Jojo subsequently shared a TikTok video in which he responded to the concerns.

Though she didn’t say a word, she posted a video of someone worried she might be pregnant before interrupting her new clip and starting to laugh like the original post was ridiculous.

But Jojo continued to tease her fans. She later returned in March with another post in which she held her stomach and wrote, “TEAM BOY OR TEAM GIRL,” according to the insider.

In a Snapchat video posted March 27, the reality star engaged her friend, dancer Ezra Sosa.

As he placed his hands on her stomach, he said, “You know everyone thinks I’m the dad, right?”

A subsequent photo showed him touching her tummy and she captioned it “The father of my baby!!!:)”

Jojo continued the ploy by posting baby clothes and accessories again, although she later returned to Snap to say she wanted to treat all of her fans who were expecting by buying them the baby accessories she’d sifted through .

She also ended the pregnancy rumors for good in a video later in the day, in which she spoke about how her sexuality affects the prospect of her having biological children in the future.

“It’s not the social norm of how I’m going to have kids one day,” she said.

“Biologically, it takes a man and a woman to have children, and children look at that, so I’m not going to talk about how babies are made, but babies are made with men and women,” she continued, adding added: ‘It will never be this male significant other in my life.’

Then she said that she would be more likely to look for sperm donation in the future if she had a partner or if she could adopt her.

However, these options were still “very far away” for her.

“I’ve accepted that the universe wants me to be single right now,” she said.

Despite the multiple clarifications, fans still found her pregnancy jokes in bad taste. ‘Doesn’t anyone else think it’s extremely disrespectful and insensitive for Jojo Siwa to pretend to be pregnant?????’ wrote one person on Twitter.

Another user wrote that Siwa “is weird and pregnancy is no joke”.

“When I see Jojo Siwa pretending to be pregnant on my snapchat one more time, I scream,” added another.

One user wrote, “Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that Jojo Siwa always acts like she’s pregnant because she’s full?”

One post included a clip from Toy Story showing Hamm the piggy bank quickly switching between TV channels, with the caption, “I’m skipping Jojo Siwa’s story to see if she’s actually pregnant.”
