Kelly Clarkson has issued a statement on allegations of a toxic behind-the-scenes work environment The Kelly Clarkson Show.
In case you don’t know, it’s been reported that former employees of the show have claimed the executive producer and showrunner Alex Duda has created such a negative work environment through bullying and verbal abuse that employees have become physically ill and their mental health has suffered greatly.
After NBC first issued a statement on the situation, Kelly also speaks up.

Share the statement on her Instagram, Kelly wrote, “Throughout her 20 years in entertainment, I’ve always guided by my ear and what I thought was right.”
“I love my team on The Kelly Clarkson Show and to find out that anyone on this show feels unheard and/or disrespected is unacceptable.
“I have always been, and will continue to be, committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment at The Kelly Clarkson Show. “As we prepare to move to the East Coast, I am more committed than ever to ensuring that not only our relocation area, but our New York team is made up of the best and friendliest in the business,” she told An.
“Part of that build will include leadership training for all my senior staff, including myself.” Kelly added. “There is always room to grow and to ensure that we are all/become the best version of ourselves in any organization, especially when it comes to leadership to ensure any notion of toxicity is eradicated.”
