Key Alves, Gustavo and Cristian will answer for religious intolerance at BBB 23

Former BBBs Key Alves, Gustavo “Cowboy” Benedeti and Cristian Vanelli, who participated in “BBB 23”, may face legal problems due to their attitudes in the program. According to lawyer William David Singer Faintych, there was religious intolerance on the part of the participants, which led to a criminal representation in the 26th Criminal Court of Rio de Janeiro.

The lawyer mentions in his document that “the prejudiced and intolerant conduct of those reported against Fred Nicácio’s religion can easily be seen in the video widely disseminated on social networks”. He also points out that “the participants admitted religious intolerance, having even apologized to the doctor, but that does not erase the practice of the criminal act”.

It is worth remembering that the action was not filed by Fred Nicácio, but it is an Unconditional Public Criminal Action, which means that anyone can report the fact. So far, the advisors of Key Alves, Gustavo Benedeti and Cristian Vanelli have not commented on the matter.

The case of religious intolerance took place in February, when the trio made negative comments about a prayer by Fred Nicácio and associated his disorientation in the dark with the evil activity of his religion.

At Casa do Reencontro, Fred Nicácio spoke about the fact and stated that he would take the appropriate legal measures, but there is no news of a lawsuit filed on his behalf. Now, with criminal representation in court, it remains to wait for the unfolding of the case and the possible consequences for the former BBBs.
