Kreuzberg: One dead, two injured after domestic violence – cause of death unclear

A dead man was found in an apartment in Kreuzberg on Tuesday night. According to initial findings, the man died after a “family dispute”, as a spokesman for the Berlin police said in the morning. A woman and a man were also injured. The police were on duty in Forsterstrasse with a large contingent. The cause of death and other backgrounds to the people were initially unclear, police forces secured the apartment, an emergency doctor tried for 45 minutes in vain to resuscitate the deceased. The two other people involved were taken to a hospital with injuries and are available for further investigation into the cause.

The police has started investigation.

Grünau: Person captured by regional train – dead

About 350 meters behind the Grünau S-Bahn station (out of town), a person was hit by a regional train on the long-distance train tracks. After intensive medical care, however, only death could be determined.

Firefighters tried in vain for more than 60 minutes with survival measures. How the deadly collision happened remains under investigation.
