Lindsay Arnold opens up about holding her baby on her stomach after pregnancy

“Dance with the Stars” alum Lindsey Arnold and her husband Samuel Lightner Cusickwelcomed their second child, June Cusickon May 3, 2023.

Now that she’s home with her newborn, she shares a post-pregnancy photo with her fans.

The former Dancing With the Stars pro shows off her post-pregnancy bump while holding her newborn baby girl now that they’re home. “A week can make a difference 🥹🥹,” she shared in the Instagram post, which included a photo of her pre-partum belly.

“It’s always the craziest thing after giving birth looking back at that pregnant belly and knowing the sweet little soul that was in there all along 🥹 we’re just in heaven here with our sweet girls 💕 last bump photo was around 30 Minutes ahead of us “I went to the hospital and I’m glad I did 🫶,” she continued.

Lindsay Arnold opens up about complications

Arnold’s pregnancy came with some scary complications, as the mother-of-two opened up in a recent Instagram post about having to have a cesarean.

“They checked my extension and I had a size of 4 cm; I checked the little girl’s position and found she was still breech (for 30 weeks) so they called my doctor and he said it was time to get the little girl out and call the AC dept to continue,” she shared.

Lindsay Arnold then revealed that she watched most of the delivery through a plastic curtain and saw her daughter June come out butt first.

“When it came time for her head to come out, we could see that the umbilical cord was wrapped around the little girl’s neck,” Arnold wrote, explaining why she was in the breech position. “It was difficult for her to pull her head out and the cord was squeezed around her neck as it was pulled. When they finally got her head out, they quickly unraveled the string and wrapped it around our sweet girl’s neck six times. “Terrifying and shocking moment for everyone in the room,” she continued on Instagram.

“They worked quickly and effectively to get the little girl breathing and alert, which took a few minutes… those minutes felt like forever, but we are so blessed that the little girl came to.” and started breathing on my own,” she added.

Both Lindsay Arnold and June are happy and healthy.
