Lorraine Kelly implores Gwyneth Paltrow to stop suggesting buying sex toys for dads in hilarious rant

Gwyneth Paltrow’s controversial Goop products are known to send out shockwaves.

And on Wednesday, the Hollywood star’s expensive lifestyle brand products were a hot topic on Lorraine, as Lorraine Kelly stunned over one item in particular.

She begged Gwyneth to stop selling sex toys for dads after the Goop founder released her Father’s Day gift guide.

The host, who was previously outraged by Gwyneth’s products, began by saying, “Gwyneth Paltrow, she never fails, does she?”

“Her Goop thing has come out with a Father’s Day gift guide and for goodness sake her latest offering – I’m not kidding – includes a £10,000 Rolex and a £50,000 trip to the Arctic Circle, but the gift that got everyone talking, And that’s no good when you’re giving your dad a £160 sex toy.”

“And apparently they are suggesting that you buy this sex toy. I’ll leave it up to your imagination where this sex toy goes…you name it, for your dad!”

‘Stop! Gwyneth, stop it! You’ve gone too far, it has to stop now. Your father would never speak to you again!’

In 2020, the show’s Hollywood reporter Ross King listed the products in a previous Goop Christmas gift guide – including toilet paper for £26 – leading to Lorraine’s outburst over some of the famous red-faced intimates.

The annual Goop Holiday Gift Guide caused a stir again thanks to its curated collection of bizarre merchandise, including a lamp made out of bread, a special bag for storing watermelons and a speaker for listening to plants.

Lorraine was obviously shocked by the list and said Honestly! You can get sustainable moor rolls much cheaper! I don’t want a bread lamp – although I think it would be handy if you want a snack.

She then appeared to reference some of the more intimate features, including the now-iconic vagina facials and a scented vagina candle, as she said, “I don’t want any of that self-pocketing nonsense either, thanks!”

Other items for sale include a vulva coloring book, a self-heating concrete bathtub, and a standalone garden structure called the Studypod.

Gwyneth’s ten-part Goop gift guide does contain some budget-friendly, conventional items — but few people turn to the queen of vaginal steaming and yoni balls for “conventional” ideas.

Finally, Goop has generously rounded up the most outlandish suggestions in its hilarious ‘Ridiculous But Great’ gift guide.

While the $125,000 upgraded electric VW Beetle is the most expensive item on the list, the Goop x Avocado mattresses are more likely to turn heads, starting at $38,000 each.

They’re made from 29 layers of sustainably sourced and organic materials, including pure latex and traditional wool from Goop farms in India, and cashmere from royal alpaca from the Peruvian Andes.

Additional layers include coir from temperate Asia, organic “non-violent” silk, and lashed-together recycled steel coils.

The ridiculous but awesome label also gets a custom Modern Tiny Living home with a starting price of $99,000 and a custom self-heating concrete tub from Igneous Bath with a starting price of $100,000.

Also on the list is a $35,000 “Pyramid Commode” designed by Kanye West favorite Elizabeth Paige Smith.

According to the Goop website, the pyramid-shaped piece, which measures seven feet tall and seven feet wide, “creates a spatial vortex in any room it is placed in, energetically increasing the vibrations there.”
