Love Island viewers slam Mitch’s mom for “calming Abi down” despite his romance with Ella B in embarrassing Meet The Parents episode: “She wants her for endgame!”

Love Island viewers slammed Mitch’s mom when she “calmed down” Abi, causing even more “mess” at the mansion in Sunday’s “Meet the Parents” episode.

The islanders were shocked when their friends and family came to the villa to give their verdict on their chosen partners.

After Mitch chatted with his parents and met Ella B’s family for the first time, the group went and spoke to the rest of the mansion, prompting Mitch’s mother to reignite the love triangle with Abi.

Fans were quick to take to Twitter, saying they understand where Mitch got his mess from as his mom hugged his ex-Abi and reassured her.

One wrote, “Mitch’s mom keeps the love triangle alive and reassuring Abi just in case things don’t work out with Mitch and Ella on the outside.”

Another said: “Mitch’s mom doesn’t feel Ella B.”

A third wrote: “Mitch’s mom is checking up on Abi.” To be respected! girl code’.

“Clearly, there’s a mess running in Mitch’s blood because why is his mom comforting Abi after beating her up ten minutes ago lmaoo,” added another.

“I wouldn’t agree if I were Mitch’s mom, that will probably make Abi want Mitch more,” said another.

Abi, who is now dating Scott, introduces him to her parents elsewhere in the episode.

However, upon entering the mansion, Abi’s mother made a sly remark to Mitch: “I don’t know if it’s nice to meet you, Mitch.”

This comes after ‘Love Island’ viewers were left gaping as Scott faced rival Mitch in a thrilling duel earlier this week.

Things got tricky when the couples were tasked with figuring out which of them was the most fake, the most smug, and the least compatible.

In the epic exchange, Scott branded Mitch and Ella B’s relationship “fake” because he claimed the gas engineer wants to rekindle his romance with his former partner Abi.

Said, “I feel like when I spoke to Ella, she wasn’t describing Mitch when she said what kind of guy she was.”

Before adding, “And let’s face it, Mitch tried to get to know every bomb that comes through the door.”

When Mitch tried to chime in, Scott snapped, “The only reason neither of us wanted to introduce you to Abi was because we felt sorry for you, you’ve been single for three weeks.”

Scott stirred the pot and, after being branded a fake himself, said: “What was that about three days ago when you said you wanted Abi back in the boy’s bedroom?”

As the other islanders burst out laughing at this revelation.

Taking to Twitter, fans were impressed by Scott’s defiance of Mitch, writing: “Scott chewed Mitch up completely and spat it out; Boy says he kills with those flip tops.
