Before coming to the station, Bailey worked for WMBD 31/WYZZ FOX 43 News at Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. During this time, he served as a chief meteorologist. He was also hired by WOHL WLQP WLMO-TV as their chief meteorologist in Lima, OH.
