Left-back Matheus Bidu vented after Corinthians won 2-1 against Universitario this Tuesday. In your Instagramthe defender questioned the racist acts of some fans of the Peruvian team, calling them “m**** racists”.
“It is unacceptable that there are filthy human beings like you, people’s trash. Do you think racist acts are normal? As long as there are people like you, the world will not go forward! Fucking racists!”, said the player.
After publishing his outburst, Bidu posted a photo with several messages received on his Instagram, in Spanish, with racist insults. Terms like “mono” and monkey and banana emojis were inserted in the messages shared by the Corinthians side.

Upon arrival of the Corinthians delegation at the Monumental, some Universitario fans imitated monkey sounds towards the Timão players. In the first leg, at the Neo Química Arena, physical trainer Sebastian Avellino was accused of making racist gestures towards Corinthians in the final minutes of the game, and was preventively detained by the Brazilian police.
The mood in Lima was hostile. After Ryan’s goal, which gave victory to Corinthians, some Universitario players attacked the young man, who took off his shirt and held it out in front of the local crowd.
Corinthians won the match against Universitario by 2-1, with goals from Maycon and Ryan, both in the second half. With the 1-0 victory in the first leg, the aggregate was 3-1 for the Brazilians.
With the classification in Sula, Corinthians will face Newell’s Old Boys, from Argentina, in the round of 16. Next Saturday, Timão will face Bahia, away from home, for the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship.
