Matthäus: “Are they Bayern players?” – Effenberg with a fitness accusation

Irrespective of the outcome of the title fight in the Bundesliga, Lothar Matthäus believes that changes in Munich are urgently needed. “It can’t go on like this at Bayern Munich! There must now be a tough analysis and a relentless review with consequences, on and off the pitch. Regardless of names or positions,” said the record national player of “Bild”. Stefan Effenberg also made a clear statement.

Matthäus’ ex-club from Munich is two points behind Borussia Dortmund in the last match of the season next Saturday. “Far too many mistakes were made overall,” said the 62-year-old.

Matthew: No “Mia san Mia” on the pitch
