Three men injured in traffic accident

Three people were injured in a traffic accident in the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district. A 29-year-old drove his car off the road late on Wednesday evening and drove through the fence of a paddock, the police said on Thursday morning. The car overturned several times and ended up lying on its roof in the paddock. The driver was seriously injured in the accident.

While investigating the accident, police officers noticed the driver smelled of alcohol. A breath alcohol test on site showed a value of 1.53 per thousand. A blood sample was then taken from the man and his driver’s license secured. An ambulance then took him to the hospital. His passengers, aged 27 and 28, suffered minor injuries and received medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
