With currently 983 members, the membership development at the Golfclub Wolfsburg remains constant, in the 2022 financial year 84 new golfers golf found, according to a press release from the golf club. The Executive Board team presented the members with the key points of the past and current year.
Cooperation with golf school runs until the end of 2023
This included the realignment of the gastronomy, the extensive administrative work including the implementation of digitization, the development and structure of members, sports operations and intensive youth work. The successful cooperation with Golf school Perelzweig/Bouda was extended until the end of 2024 and with the commissioning of a modern indoor golf course expanded. The entire golf course will continue to be continuously upgraded and, above all, adapted to the challenges of climate change. Here the golf club relies on drought-resistant types of grass and planting more trees to reduce wind drying out. As the golf club reports, numerous members have already registered as tree donors to finance the reforestation. The minimizing water consumption and distinct resource conservation energy sources were other important topics at the general meeting.
