Nancy Kacungira is an eminent Tanzanian-born Ugandan journalist and news anchor currently working as a reporter and presenter at BBC News. From 2017 to January 2019, She presented Focus on Africa and World Business Report on BBC World News.
From September 2019, She became the main presenter at 7 pm on weekdays and 9 pm on weekends when she is not on assignment after a stint presenting World News Today in August 2018. Since January 2019, Kacungira has presented In Business Africa alongside Ashionye Ogene.

Back in June 2016, She joined BBC News. At this present moment, Nancy serves as a presenter and reporter. She began as a radio presenter while still at university. During that time, Nancy served her way up from intern to Deputy Program Director by the time she received her first-class degree.
Later, Kacungira started her media career at a Christian radio station in Kampala, Uganda, named Power FM. While there, She served as a radio presenter. Nancy together with Seanice Kacungira, her sister co-founded Blu Flamingo in 2010. It is a digital media management company.
