NCIS Season 20 is almost done. This was a season of action, romance and lots of team building. So it’s no surprise that the penultimate episode promises quite a bit of intrigue, espionage and politics.

What’s the new NCIS episode over?
What happens in the penultimate episode of NCIS Season 20? Accordingly IMDB, there was a murder in the National Archives. First, a body was found in the secret area. Everything about this crime scene makes Parker (Gary Cole) and his team feel like something else is happening. The evidence points to a grand scheme.
In addition, the team keeps encountering some Russian spies. Is that on purpose or is it coincidence? Can the team find a link between the spies and the corpse, or is something bigger happening? Has the team uncovered a deadly spy game? Did they foil the Russians’ plan, or is something big going on?
Meanwhile, Knight (Katrina Law) and Jimmy (Brian Dietzen) enjoy their relationship. As it continues to grow, Jimmy begins to wonder if he is worthy of such a great woman. So when Jimmy has a heart-to-heart conversation with Jessica, does his lack of confidence change their relationship forever?

The astute writing team on this long-running series love to squeeze as many clues as red herrings into each script. Fans need to pay extra attention this week as this is the first part of a two-part story arc to the season finale.
