Controversial Nigerian sketch producer Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, has been released from prison.
Recall that on June 22, Nigerian police authorities summoned the prankster for his skit in which an underage woman was involved in a sexualized prank.
INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that Trinity Guy has been subpoenaed to appear before the Oyo State Police Command.
However, a magistrates’ court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, ruled that Trinity Guy must remain in prison until August.
In addition to the entertainer, the court also remanded the minor’s parents, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat Ahmed, 29, into custody.
The prosecutor, Inspector Oluwakemi Arowosaye, told the court that Abdullahi, Ahmed and his wife Rofiat planned to commit sexual abuse.
