The former Oasis rocker has been searching for the work of the tech billionaire – who owns Twitter and founded Tesla, PayPal and SpaceX – and believes he’s not only one of the most fascinating people of today, but also one of the future due to his space ambitions of humanity .
Noel, 56, is dying to go to dinner with Elon, 52, and thinks they could become close friends.
Speaking on the Matt Morgan Podcast, he said, “Obviously I’ve always known this guy’s name and I know he’s a crazy loner, but I’d never really heard Elon Musk speak, I didn’t know his vibe.” So I got onto this one Thing clicked: When will I meet this guy? He is great! He’s landing friggin’ RC missiles on a friggin’ iPad in the middle of the sea! I want to be his friend.”
The ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hitmaker has long admitted he knew “nothing” about Elon or his plans, and now he wants to be reached out.
He added: “I didn’t know anything about him except that he had a lot of money and was a little crazy. I didn’t know he was going to start a colony on Mars and he built these rockets that are reusable and can be landed in the middle of the Indian Ocean with an iPad.
“Wow, what a guy. And he puts all his own money in it and doesn’t give a shit.
“Musk-y, call us, get in touch!”
