The Towers held back again, so that an exciting final phase should develop. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the lead changed every minute. But in the final moments, the guests ran out of breath. “We’ve been struggling with a short rotation all season,” said Lukas Meisner, who was “extremely proud of the team” given the circumstances.

Ziga Samar (ten points and twelve assists) could not reward himself for his strong performance. Ryan Taylor (17 points) became the best pitcher at the Towers. Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann also played well, scoring 15 points in 17 minutes. Due to the bankruptcy, the towers have slipped down the table – they end the season in 15th place.
